Subpoena assignments are handled from the prepared documents and written instructions supplied by counsel or another authorized requester.
Service and records-related support
Downey Legal accepts prepared subpoenas for service on witnesses, businesses, and custodians of records. Requests can include delivery instructions, witness fees supplied by the requester, and return requirements for the completed proof.
For out-of-state matters, operational domestication support is performed according to counsel instructions and the requirements identified by counsel. The office does not determine the correct legal procedure or prepare legal documents.
What the office needs
Provide the complete issued subpoena package and identify every item that must accompany service.

- — Prepared subpoena, attachments, notices, and witness fee if applicable
- — Service deadline and any date-sensitive production instructions
- — Counsel contact and directions for returning the proof
Nationwide coordination
The office can review requests involving service or operational support in other U.S. jurisdictions on a case-by-case basis. Availability and the method of handling are confirmed after the complete assignment is reviewed.
